Carolina Bootleggers

The Carolina Bootleggers, also known as “The Boots,” are the B team of the Carolina Rollergirls. The Boots compete against other teams from around the country. Bootlegger games offer inter-league competition for the skaters who are not on the current WFTDA All-Star roster. Boots’ games are just as competitive as All-Star games and many of these ladies move on to eventually play with the Carolina All-Stars.

We would like to thank everyone who came out to the Got to Be NC tournament this weekend! Thank you Killamazoo, Charm City and Blueridge for helping make the tournament so exciting! Thank you so much to our volunteers who went the extra mile to make the day special; one of our announcers drove down from Richmond to announce one game! Two others handled the entire day by themselves! Sashion Victim, Lou Botomy and the Prince of Blueridge really had a marathon day! Thank you to the NSOs and refs that kept us safe!

Our Mission

Who are we? CRG!

We are the Carolina Rollergirls, athletes dedicated to enriching the lives of women through sports training and participation in international competition. Our league is an active member of the community, taking part in charitable outreach programs and local events. We strive to be strong, positive role models in our commitment to maintaining a family-friendly, inclusive environment. We are a 501(c)(3) organization run solely by skaters and volunteers. These volunteers along with our fans and community have made roller derby in the Triangle possible since 2004.
