Saturday, March 7: Dreaming of Derby Action in Apex
The Carolina Rollergirls have been working on a special event for the first home team bout of 2009. Get ready to see roller derby in Apex on Saturday, March 7! The ninja cats will be sneaking through the pack and the crazed nurses will be dosing out the pain. That's right, the Tai Chi-tahs and the Trauma Queens will be bringing old school derby to this more intimate venue.
Too many tempting opportunities for national game play booked Dorton Arena this year, but we still love our home teams as much as our fans do. We'll be scheduling surprise home team (intraleague) games throughout the Triangle in 2009 and our RinkRash buddies will be the first to know about them!
We will be selling beer to our fans 21+ with ID, cash only please
No advance tickets, admission at door on bout day Adults $6 | Kids (6–12) $3 | Kids 5 and under: FREE
Season ticket holders: FREE | Volunteers with 2009 badge: FREE

The Freshest Fresh Meat!
It's a girl! Actually, it's six girls. CRG held tryouts on January 31, and come February 1 we had six awesome new ladies to add to the league. Hugs and bruises to Kelly, Shawnda, Sheri, Renee, Michelle and Beth. Congratulations from all of us!
Saturday, April 11: Teachers admitted free
The Carolina Rollergirls know how hard our unsung heroes work during the school year, so we are saying thank you by offering free admission to the first 50 teachers who present their school ID at the box office on game day at Dorton Arena. Put your red pen aside for a day and treat yourself to some derby!
