The 2008 Season is well underway, but there's one matchup we've yet to see — both currently undefeated, The Trauma Queens will face the Debutante Brawlers in their first meeting of the season THIS SUNDAY at Dorton Arena!

Debutante Brawlers' fans have been tinkled pink over their fantastic start this year and whose to blame them? Pumped from their recent win over the Tai Chi-tahs, seasoned Deb captains Roxy Rockett & Shirley Temper have been working overtime to unleash the pink powerhouse of seasons past. But don't go thinking that the Trauma Queens have been off polishing their crowns. Captains DVS & Zella Lugosi are planning a perfect season for their skilled team, fit for a Queen!

Brawlers and Queens Hit the Road

In the past few months, two of the Carolina home teams traveled to Philadelphia to take on two of the Philly Rollergirls' home teams. The Debutante Brawlers battled the Heavy Metal Hookers on March 15. It was a nail-biter with the score painfully close down to the final jam, and resulted in the Brawlers taking home their first away loss with a final of 77-65. On May 3, the Trauma Queens traveled north and dominated the Broad St. Butchers. The Queens carved up an impressive 108-33 win at their first ever away game.

Tryouts Workshop June 8th

If you are planning to attend our July 12 tryouts or are interesting in learning more about the skills necessary to become a rollergirl, please attend our Tryouts Workshop on June 8 from noon until 2pm. Doors will open at 11:30 so you have plenty of time to gear up and stretch prior to hitting the floor. Participants in the workshop and tryouts need their own skates, helmet and pads.
