RED, WHITE, AND BRUISED THIS SUNDAY!In honor of Armed Forces Day, the first 100 active military get in FREE as well as the first 100 veterans. On behalf of Princess America and the rest of the Carolina Rollergirls, we thank the men and women in uniform for all that you do!! Your Carolina Rollergirls are excited to host the Tragic City Rollers All-Star team from Birmingham, Alabama this Sunday, May 20, 2007 at Dorton Arena! The Tragic City Rollers are a new force in the South and now they're pitting themselves against Carolina's own Trauma Queens! But can Alabama find a way to stay on their skates when facing 2006 Most Jammer Takeouts & Knockdowns blocker extraordinaire Kitty Crowbar? Scrub up this Sunday and see how they roll! And if that's not enough down and derby action for you, this is a double-header event featuring the Tai Chi-tahs versus the Debutante Brawlers. These two teams are both finalists for the 2007 Championship Bout and the game is about to get ugly. The Debutantes have "Got their Pink On" all season, but when the Tai Chi-tahs see pink, out come the claws! This could be the cat-brawl of the century! CRG vs. AZRD in the Desert
The Carolina Rollergirls battled in out in the desert heat (106°F) against Arizona Roller Derby in Phoenix, AZ on May 12, 2007. With impressive blocking by Maddat U and Shirley Temper, Carolina held the lead until the final 5 minutes of the game. But the amazing jamming prowess of Sheriff Shutyerpaio evened the score and gave AZRD the win in the final jam of the game.
