rematch: october 28th in las vegas
Two thousand derby-hungry fans got a jam-packed feast at our inaugural brawl in Dorton Arena on Sept. 16th! The crowd roared as we fought for our largest margin of victory in CRG interleague bouting history! But don't let that high score fool you -- the Las Vegas Neander Dolls refused to fold when the competition got fierce, with heavy hitters like Trish the Dish and Ivanna S. Pankin forcing our jammers to earn every point.
And we're anxious to do it again! CRG will be heading to Las Vegas for a rematch on Oct. 28th at the Flamingo Banks Hockey Track.
Unfortunately, increased intensity at practices in preparation for our interleague season has added a few players to the CRG injured reserve list -- Kama Suture and Eris Discordia have both suffered collarbone breaks, forcing them to the bench for several weeks. While their talent will be missed enormously in the rematch, rising stars DVS (Trauma Queens), Billy the Kid (Deb. Brawlers), and Marcy Killer (Tai Chi-tahs) will be making their interleague competition debuts and will definitely play important roles in gaining a second win against Sin City.

Providence Roller Derby will be heading to Raleigh to take on the CRG all-stars for what we're hoping will be an autumnal ass-whooping! Our next opponents may hail from the smallest state in the country, but we're expecting nothing but big play from the team, which is currently ranked eleventh in the nation. Leadfoot is ready to tear up to the track
at this weekend's demolition derby. After you've had your fill of fried Coca-Cola, turkey legs and ham biscuits, don't miss the Demolition Derby at the NC State Fair this Saturday, Oct. 21st! We have 2 drivers competing -- our own little Leadfoot will be breaking hearts and crunching metal in a '91 Pontiac 3000 and CRG's #1 fan, dj cut-less, will be shredding wheels in a '83 Buick LeSabre. They'll both be competing Saturday, October 21 at 7:00pm in the v6 Class.
