Once again, the 2005 Season Champions, the Debutante Brawlers, pulled out the strategic game play that's becoming their calling card against the Trauma Queens, winning the semi-finals 151-144. Word on the rink is the Debs think they've got the cat in the bag & are already measuring tiara sizes. But the new troublemakers on the block, the Tai Chi-tahs, are aimin' to prove the sun don't shine on the same cat's tail all the time.

If you were at the last Deb vs. Chi-tah matchup, you saw the frequent flyer miles rack up and we have photographic evidence of what happened on the runway...

It all started when the Tai Chi-tah captain, Princess America got a hairball, trapped in her mouthguard and Eva Lye offered to help her out with a neighborly Heimlich maneuver to the floor. Woohooo! Out came the ninja claws! Not to be outdone, Eris Discordia thought she'd lend a helpin' hand as she came flyin up on a fallen Shirley Temper, "Aww...sweetie, you've been spendin' a lot of time on the floor! You need a lil' back rub?"

"Oh SNAP! Did she just say that!?!?" Trauma Queen Penelope Bruz laughed as the crowd went nuts. "Girl, this is about to get derby!" laughed teammate DVS.

Next jam, Deb jammer Eva Lye comes up on Maddat U and says, "Hey U, what's that smell?" Maddat U: "I have Chi-tah power, I smell nothing - HI-YA!" Eva takes off, "Tell ya next jam!" The whistle blows & next lineup has Maddat U on jam. Eva jumps into pivot position. She sniffs in the air as
Maddat tries to pass, "yep, I smell burnin' kneepads!" "Huh?" says Maddat. BAM!

It got a bit more cordial as Princess America introduced Kitty Crowbar to some of her friends in the audience, Ms. Fit offered Violet Femme a shoulder to lean on, and Kristi Kreme decided she and Teflon should get a little closer.

The game ended with the Tai Chi-tah's takin' it, but for the first time in history, the crowd started screaming for an encore! They wanted more! Lucky for the Chi-tahs, Rockerboy reminded everyone about the afterparty at Kings where the NeuRomance crew was armed & ready with a turntable that don't quit and an endless supply of beer!
