Round Robin Tournament
Chapel Thrillers  •  Durham Crash  •  Raleigh Ruckus
August 17  |  Doors 6pm  |  Bout 6:30pm
At United Skates of America in Raleigh

The Carolina Rollergirls continue their 2014 season with local home teams! Join us at United Skates of America on Sunday, August 17th, for our Round Robin Tournament. It will consist of 3 short games, each local team playing each other, for a 20-minute period. (total game time is 60 minutes, the length of a regular bout)

Raleigh Ruckus had another win in July. It was a close game, but in the end, they had a 40-point victory over the Chapel Thrillers. Is Raleigh going to dominate this entire season? Come out to see if another Triangle team can break their winning streak.

We will have new merchandise with our newly designed logo, so be sure to visit our merch booth! We will also have our Penny Jars there to continue our Penny Jar War competition between the 3 Local teams in the Triangle. Bring pennies to fill the jars of your favorite teams put silver coins and bills in the jars of your less favorite team. Each penny counts as +1 point, each silver coin or bill counts as a – point for it’s value (ex. a quarter is -25 points). The team that ends the season with the highest point value WINS! It’s really just a popularity contest, folks. Who’s YOUR favorite team? The winner will be announced at the end of the season.

Did you know?
United Skates of America is the rink formerly known as the Skate Ranch. The Carolina Rollergirls started practicing in this rink with just a few girls back in January, 2004? This is where IT ALL started, where CRG was born. We hope to see you there!
