How did you find derby?: Celia Fate found it in TX and she told me she was either going to move to TX to play roller derby, or start a league here in Raleigh. So I started going to speed practice with her and then derby practice once we had recruited enough people. We were roommates back in college (1993) and after, too, and used to skate together for recreation before derby changed our lives.
Sports Background: Basketball, Softball, Track, Roller Skating, Inline Skating, Bowling.
Best Fresh Meat Moment: Our Expo Bout, jamming in the first jam against Celia Fate.
Favorite Derby Memory: Playing for the All-Stars and beating Kansas City right after they placed 1st at Nationals, 2007.
Likes: Working out, making jewelry, eating vegetables.
Derby Heroes: Leo and Jerry Seltzer, Celia Fate, Evil Ed, all the skaters of roller derby, both past and present.
Name Inspiration: Celia Fate named me because I used to give her the evil eye when she didn't do the dishes.
Food Before a Bout: Eggs, a raw Lara bar, Smoothie from Smoothie King.
